Homage To The Alley
As I have mentioned a couple of days ago this Alley has been gated off and the graffiti painted over. A friend sent me THIS ARTICLE which says the whys and hows. I have to say the whys are pretty dumb…
Anyway here goes some shots from the last couple of years…

Im sure it wont take too much as long as the councils anti graffiti rugby world cup stance doesn’t get too heavy

Many of these I remember and have been favourites of mine, some I missed (I was late to the blog), all tell a very nice story of The Alley!
A good thing you were there to capture it.

There are many occasions when I spot a scene that I know is fantastic and I have to photograph it, but when I finally get the chance it is gone. I remember almost ever single time this has happened.
This is the opposite, many great opportunities all taken by you. You will not get the chance again, but you made the most of it while you could. It is sad, but you have avoided the tragedy of the one that got away.
Superb stuff by the way.

Cheers. I got sick of missing shots a while back and decided to take a camera with me always… Lets just say Ive never looked back… It is better to have photographed and lost than to never have photographed at all 🙂
