Korokoro Stream Half Marathon

Last Sunday I was taking one of my daughters to her first Gymkhana over the back of Normandale. I had a few cameras in the car for the horse riding 🙂 While they were away rounding up the horses I waited by the car (I was told in no uncertain terms by my 6 year old that I had to wait by the car) runners started coming past. With time to kill I started shooting them as they came past (yep I have a weird idea of fun).

Anyway if you were in this race here goes a bunch if photos, Im sorry to say I didn’t get everyone…

Feel free to grab them 🙂

Photgraphy For Good Not Evil

Recently I submitted a framed photo for the Phil Jacobs Benefit . Phil is one of the few camera repair people left in Wellington and sadly he has become seriously sick which has put a major financial strain on his family.

I have had my Rolleiflex fixed by Phil on numerous occasions and he has always gone out of his way to help me out.

They had a live auction last Friday for some of the prints and the rest have gone on TradeMe (NZ equivalent of Ebay).

Anyway if you want to buy a nice framed, darkroom printed shot of one of the founding fathers of Wellington’s statue overseeing repairs done to a street light then now is your chance, unfortunately I think bidding is restricted to NZ only… Anyway the auction is Here go have a look 🙂
