Japanese Festival Drumming

A couple of weeks ago I came across this Japanese festival in Civic Square while randomly walking round. The drummers were just setting up so I stuck around to shoot a few pictures…

Half Frame Church

The last few shots from my Canon Demi S before it died… I keep meaning to try and fix it but haven’t managed to get the time and lack of small people required 🙂

This is the St James Presbyterian Church in Newtown which was just declared an earthquake risk a couple of weeks ago…

Holga Panos

Another test roll through the Holga I found and adapted into a 35mm pano camera… I’m liking how these are looking… Next might have to try colour negative…

Holga 120 with Custom Pano cut out for 35mm, Ilford Delta 100 (Expired), CanoScan 9000F Scanner.

Tulip

I have been hanging out at the Wellington Botanical Gardens a bit lately… The spring festival is in full swing and lets just say that its a target rich environment for all sorts of different photography…

Yay I managed to make my computer work again!

I was just getting my camera out of its bag when these two danced past which is why they aren’t closer… Its been that kind of week 🙂

Computer Issues: Part 2

Its been a strange week not having a working computer but hopefully I have sorted it out… I now have two working computers so are backing up everything onto removable hard drive and then see which one gives the best performance 🙂

This was what my desk looked like 30 minutes ago… Let the blogging resume!

Computer Issues

I have been having some problems with my computer lately and yesterday it finally gave up and died on me 😦

Most of my stuff was backed up but I still need to rescan about 20 rolls of film before I can get back to putting stuff back up… Sorry

Hopefully it wont take too long…

Holga Pano Test Roll

A couple of weeks ago Fergus found the front half of a Holga while we were doing a bit of urban exploring, He gave it to me and I decided to custom it using a 35mm adaptor. The adaptor I bought was only for single frame 35mm so I cut it out so that it would be panoramic all the way to the edge of the film.

This is the first roll I put through it which was 7 years expired… I still need to make a custom scanning mask so the film doesn’t curl up at the ends…

Holga 120 with Custom cut out 135mm adaptor, Fuji Velvia 100F Film (expired 2005) Cross Processed, CanoScan 9000F Scanner.

Dont see this happening round here much and this was on a pretty busy road… Must have been some real nice wheels!
