The nice weather of late has definitely been drawing more people outside into the sun…

Ducks On Cuba Street

Walked past a couple of ducks on Cuba Street a few days ago… Maybe they were waiting for the shops to open…

School Fair

A shot from Emilys school fair a couple of weeks ago… The light was super harsh and this was the only shot I took.

Waterfront Sleeper

I always like the forward planning of sleepers who take off their shoes and store them under the seat.

Erskine

Another exploration with Fergus. This time Erskine College out in Island Bay.

Unfortunately Fergus was a bit cagey about what we were going to shoot so all I had with me was my Rollei and the RZ with a 180mm and Pan F 50 ISO Film. I would have loved to have the F5 with a 19mm but I made the most of what I had and we will definitely have to go back  and shoot it again.

Erskine College closed in 1985 and while parts are still used for function rooms and the cathedral most of it is in disrepair.

Photoshoot

Photo shoot on the beech by the playground where Sam and I go after we wander through town.

I am currently in a bit of a state of transition at the moment as Sam has pretty much grown out of the backpack and I am trying to get her to walk instead. Unfortunately this is meaning that I am taking less images 😦

Bear with me and hopefully all will be back to normal soon 🙂 and I do have a film to develop…

Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

OK so they weren’t actually sleeping 🙂

Civic Square

Running a bit behind with developing at the moment so here is another older shot of a couple of kids sharing headphones (I think) in Civic Square.

Simon Woolf

Another Wellington photographer, this time Simon Woolf.

This is probably the first time I have seen him without a camera as he was changing a light outside his studio. After I took this we had a chat and he told me he had just purchased his second Rolleiflex 🙂
