Kids In Trees
I usually don’t take images of kids but couldn’t help myself with this one… The kids were climbing to get a better view of the Rugby 7s fashion show that was going on…

Sunset On top Of a Bunker
Looking out towards the South Island of New Zealand from on top of a World War 2 observation post above the Wellington Airport.
The lights are for shipping navigation around the point and into the harbor… I think… 🙂

A Couple Of Sleepers
A couple of sleepers… The first one is in Civic Square and the second one is trying the time-honored profession of sleep begging on Dixon Street

This Would Have Been A Good Valintines Day Image
Such is the way with film…Sometimes you just have to wait…
Hope everyone had a good one 🙂
Still haven’t heard back to see if Rollei is fixable yet…Starting to get a bit nervous…

Technical Difficulties
I am currently waiting for my Rollei to be assessed by a camera repair person (Phil Jacobs in Petone) due to the fact that the shutter has been lagging a bit which I have mentioned in previous posts. Hopefully it just needs a bit of a clean…Fingers crossed.
It feels a bit weird walking around without it and I keep seeing shots that I am missing… Luckily I have just processed 5 films so I have a few images yet to put up 🙂
Anyway here goes an image of Boba Fett doing a live cross from the rugby 7s catwalk…

No Access?
I’m guessing this must be for animals since people aren’t allowed on it?
If you don’t want people to go somewhere why make it easy to go there?

Bollywood Filming in Wellington
Caught these guys a couple of weeks ago filming a scene for a movie… This scene involved a bus fallen into a bomb crater… Guess it was mostly CG

Shooting Stance…Who’s Best?
A couple of shooters at the Gardens concert…
Who has the best style?
Exhibit A…Looks like a 70-200 f2.8 of some description…Nicely braced for the low light
Exhibit B… Some kind of compact zoom with a viewfinder?
Who has the best style?

Night Concert at the Botanical Gardens
A couple of weeks ago I took my daughter Emily to a late concert at the botanical gardens… They have a mass of lights set up throughout the gardens which is pretty cool to see and I had promised Em I would take her even though it was a couple of hours after her bedtime.
The concert was Newtown Rocksteady and Emily didn’t like it that much mostly because it was quite loud so we didn’t hang out near the stage like I would have preferred but ended up wandering around until the lights came on about 9, two hours after she normally goes to bed.

Bike Jump Competition Practice
Couple off shots of one of the guys practicing on the jumps across the road from where I live.
These were both shot at 1/500th which leads me to believe that Rollei is due for a bit of shutter maintenance.
The competition was a couple of weekends ago now and unfortunatley I had to work and then it rained before I finished so didn’t manage to get any more shots…
Developing a whole heap of stuff from the Rugby Sevens today so should have more from that tomorrow….
