Nodal Ninja 360 Degree Panoramic Images
Wow! That title is a bit of a mouthful.
This week I have had the fun experience of borrowing a Nodal Ninja (or as Amanda calls it a “Noodle Ninja”)
For those of you who don’t know what this is… It’s basically a device that enables you to pivot around the absolute centre of your lens when you are taking images to stitch together.
unfortunately WordPress doesn’t display these too well since they are really wide, but you get the idea…
All the below images are made up of 22 images stitched together with Photoshop.
People Taking Photos
Here goes a series of images of people taking images 🙂
This guy was obviously very happy to be here.
This kid had the right idea, get above the crowd…I need one of these (the person to sit on, not the kid) 🙂
Always make sure your assistant is well attired.
When I was taking this I was wondering if he was actually taking a photo of me or if that puddle was just REALLY interesting.
Jump for the Camera
Tourists having their picture taken at Civic Square in Wellington.
Cropped in slightly.
Ticker Tape Journey
Seen at last weeks parade.
This shows the short life of ticker tape from being shot out of a canon to being swept up…Enjoy
It was basically a CO2 cylinder strapped to a box with a tube stuck on one end… Nice
Nothing like a whole heap of different coloured tape to throw off your exposure meter 🙂
Shock horror its in colour! Ran out of black and white and had a roll of Kodak Supra 400 (which was horrendously expired… Thanks the person who gave it to me…you know who you are)
Not sure I would want to be this guy.
Nikon F5, 50mm f1.8 Lens, Ilford HP5+ 400 ISO Film and Kodak Supra 400 ISO Colour Negative Film.
Stilt Walker in Civic Square
One of the few times I have been a little frustrated with my 50mm. Would have been easier to frame the shot with a wide-angle which would have ment I could have got her all in the shot showing how much taller she was than everyone else. Couldnt get back any further without getting other people in front.
Seen at Civic Square in Wellington at the All Whites (NZ Football Team) parade. The name comes from the fact they wear all white uniforms.
Civic Square Ball
New wooden sculpture on top of the bridge going over the road from Civic Square in Wellington.
New opportunities for framing the ball hanging in the middle of the square.
Have taken this again with better framing but film is still in the camera.
Nikon F5, 50mm f1.8 Lens, Ilford HP5+ 400 ISO film… (this mostly doesnt change) 🙂
