Yoga With an Enlargement

Saw this shot on Cuba Street looking through the people doing yoga as a pacifist protest against China…

Fatherhood Friday 27: Pipes and Flying Bikes

I havent done one of these in a while, mostly due to a backlog of film that I have to develop 🙂

Things have been slowly moving towards summer with the weather getting better and more opportunities to head outside and play in the sun.

Street shooting Mondays have been reinstated with Sam in the backpack and us roaming through town looking for photo opportunities (and occasionally playgrounds).

Emily is getting very excited about christmas already and we have started to put up our christmas tree with a few decorations being put on it each night. The tree is looking slightly comical due to the fact that most decorations are on the top third of the tree away from where Sam can get them.

Protest In Manners Mall

This protest has been going on since it was announced that there was going to be a bus road put through the previously pedestrian Manners Mall… With only 5 days before buses are going through it I am getting as many images of the area as I can before it changes.

At one point the protestor was arrested for smashing up the road with a sledge hammer… I missed that one dang it!

How To Stack Your Family

Seen on lower Cuba Street during the Santa parade.

I’m turning into the person who goes to these events to take images of the crowd and not the actual event 🙂

Titahi Bay Black and White

Finally got round to developing and scanning the Black and White film images taken the other week at Titahi Bay.

This was the first roll of Ilford Pan F+ 50 ISO film through the Rollei and I have to say that I like it. This week I am trying Kodak Tri-X 400 which should also be interesting to see how it comes out.

Cutting Up The Road

More road works on Victoria Street just across from where I work.

These guys caused many interruptions with exceedingly loud noises which made working a bit hard to handle sometimes but they were just doing their jobs.

Death of a Mall

Manners Mall gets opened up for buses this Sunday so it will finally stop being a pedestrian only space. It’s a bit sad because this was an area that I take a lot of my images but on the bright side of things change usually brings its own fun.
