Back From Holiday And A Test Shot

Happy New Year!

I’ve pretty much only just got back from a months holiday (which was AWESOME!) so hopefully you should see some posts turning up again.

While I was away I took a stupid amount of film and now I have a stupid amount of developing to do….. So it might be digi shots for a bit til I get sorted

The shot below is a test shot I did using my D90 with the intention to go back and shoot a super long exposure on film. Unfortunately I didn’t get back to take the one on film 😦

Photgraphy For Good Not Evil

Recently I submitted a framed photo for the Phil Jacobs Benefit . Phil is one of the few camera repair people left in Wellington and sadly he has become seriously sick which has put a major financial strain on his family.

I have had my Rolleiflex fixed by Phil on numerous occasions and he has always gone out of his way to help me out.

They had a live auction last Friday for some of the prints and the rest have gone on TradeMe (NZ equivalent of Ebay).

Anyway if you want to buy a nice framed, darkroom printed shot of one of the founding fathers of Wellington’s statue overseeing repairs done to a street light then now is your chance, unfortunately I think bidding is restricted to NZ only… Anyway the auction is Here go have a look 🙂
