Recently I submitted a framed photo for the Phil Jacobs Benefit . Phil is one of the few camera repair people left in Wellington and sadly he has become seriously sick which has put a major financial strain on his family.
I have had my Rolleiflex fixed by Phil on numerous occasions and he has always gone out of his way to help me out.
They had a live auction last Friday for some of the prints and the rest have gone on TradeMe (NZ equivalent of Ebay).
Anyway if you want to buy a nice framed, darkroom printed shot of one of the founding fathers of Wellington’s statue overseeing repairs done to a street light then now is your chance, unfortunately I think bidding is restricted to NZ only… Anyway the auction is Here go have a look 🙂

A couple of weeks ago I was involved with a photo shoot for TINKture Tattoo Aftercare by Le’Esscience with Bev Short.
What better way to compliment a 20’s inspired shoot than with some behind the scenes shots from a 50’s camera 🙂

This is the toilet at Carlucci Land Mini golf and Sculpture Park in Happy Valley, Wellington. Super cool place to go and explore even if you aren’t into mini golf 🙂

I haven’t had much luck finding sleepers lately, although with the weather warming up I’m pretty sure they will start coming out again… Couldn’t resist this one at the airport 🙂
