Food Vendor

A food vendor at a cultural festive held in Civic Square in Wellington… I guess his day wasn’t going so well… It probably didn’t help that it poured down with rain about 30 mins later.

I like how sometimes if you wait long enough it all come together 🙂

Hold Up Guy

The radio network covering the dragon boat races had up a large inflatable arch for people to walk under on their way to the event… Unfortunately not long after they put it up it got windy and had to be taken down… this was just after it got windy and just before they took it down.

Witness Statement

Just finished the last episode of “The Wire” last night so I thought it was fitting to put up a police image 🙂

This is a shot on Manners Street that I alluded to in an earlier post with a speeding police car. He was getting witness statements from an accident scene where someone had been hit by a bus (no red ribbons involved) I did however hear the witness say that the bus sped up through the intersection (possibly to avoid stopping at a red light)…

Another Sleeper And A Poll

Yet another shot of a sleeper from last weekend… I think this one may be my favorite so far.

Also below is a poll to see which suggestion would be best for renaming the “sleeper” category…Take a few seconds and help me out 🙂

Will do a Homage to Sleepers next week with the poll results…

Short Sighted Texting

I guess she forgot her glasses since if she needed shade she could have just moved four steps to her left 🙂
