Simon Woolf
Another Wellington photographer, this time Simon Woolf.
This is probably the first time I have seen him without a camera as he was changing a light outside his studio. After I took this we had a chat and he told me he had just purchased his second Rolleiflex 🙂

The Humble Road Cone and 19 Year Old Expired Film
The other day I got given a roll of Kodak Ektachrome 64T which expired in October 1992. It had been kept in a freezer so I thought I would do a short series on the humble road cone which I would then get cross processed… It turned out much better than I thought… Might have to try and find some more.
If you cant read it upside down check out the expiry date 🙂

Peter Black
From time to time I come across other street photographers while I am wandering around…
Peter Black has just had his book “I Loved You The Moment I Saw You” published a couple of months ago (you can see it HERE) so when I saw him wandering around with his camera I did a quick evasive maneuver round the back of a block to catch him as he walked past (not easy to do quickly with a two year old strapped onto your back).
It was an excellent case of good preparation bad execution as I pulled the focus a bit… He obviously saw me and grabbed a couple of shots of me and Sam 🙂
When we walked back later on in the morning he didn’t notice me taking the shot of him being interviewed about the book 🙂

Haunted
A couple of shots of the road going into the Fever Hospital… Spooky

Cunningvision
A shot of Fergus aka Cunningvision on one of our urban explorations… This shot would have been awesome if he didn’t have the digi round his neck 🙂
I think he is shooting on a FED of some description…

I Hate When People Blink
This is from a while back when I locked my keys in my car before going out shooting…

Return To The Abandoned Fever Hospital
These shots are from the second trip to the abandoned Fever hospital (The images from the first trip are HERE)
The light was much more subdued this time and being able to shoot wide with the 50mm on 6×7 (28mm equivalent) was pretty cool.
Cant wait to go back after dark sometime and splash some light around 🙂

National Front
Caught up with these guys just as they were finishing up with their rally. Their rallys always tend to have a high number of police.

Car Crash
Sometimes you don’t have to go out to get images… Sometimes they come to you.
This happened just along the road from where I live within view of my house. I waited until the ambulance had left before I headed down wondering how the police would feel about me being there taking photos. I needn’t have worried as at least three police officers came up to me (thinking I was busted) but only to talk about my camera 🙂
It appeared the car lost control going round the corner, rode up the bank and flipped onto its roof. The corner had just been resealed a couple of days before and it still didn’t have its top layer on yet as well as being wet but they may have just been going too fast…
No one was killed but not sure how badly hurt they were.

More RZ67 Test Shots
Took the RZ out to the cemetery in the weekend loaded with some Pan F+ 50 ISO Film to see how it would handle… I have to say I like the results 🙂
