So I went and got a new toy the other day… A Fuji Neo Classic Instax Mini camera… It has just enough functionality to make it fun 🙂 and its thin so fits in my camera bag beside Rollei 🙂
Here go a couple of results from the first pack of film 🙂

This is something I have walked past countless times over the years but this is the first time I have noticed that all the padlocks have things written on them 🙂

Just spent the last weekend in Napier for a cousins wedding. I shot a number of films while I was there and due to bad remembering developed one of the ones I shot round town while I was supposed to be developing the ones I took at the wedding 🙂
Most of Napier was levelled in an earthquake in 1931 which killed 256 people but was mostly rebuilt in the Art Deco style that was popular at the time.

Did I blink and miss half of it?
Here’s to a more photographically productive year in 2014…

A couple of shots of a scrap metal yard on a Holga adapted to shoot full width 35mm film.
I actually went into the office to ask if I could go a bit more into the yard but was told I could only shoot from the gate as it was too dangerous 🙂

Holga 120 Camera with custom 35mm Adaptor, Ilford Delta 100 ISO Film (expired), CanoScan 9000F Scanner.

This is from a couple of weeks ago when I did a job with photographer Alicia Scott. Ivan and his team at Frenz Hair Salon were great to work with and it was a fun shoot. I even managed to plug Rollei into the lights, via pocket wizards, and snap a couple of shots 🙂
See one of the final shots on Alicia’s page HERE
