Sleepers. Blanket Man
Most cities have at least one notorious homeless person who everyone knows of, Wellingtons is Blanket Man… He sits on Courtenay Place in a loincloth wrapped in a blanket all day every day. I guess he sleeps there too…

Cuba Street Sleeper
Couple of views of the same sleeper on Cuba Street last Saturday morning… I like the hat under the seat… I wonder if he found it when he woke up?

Uncomfortable Sleeper
Last weekend I went out early to find sleepers only to find that the council was out in force mowing and cleaning everything in sight. However it did mean that this guy probably moved away from where he usually crashed and this was much more interesting.
In other events I have officially become a sleeper “Snob” walking past one in the weekend because they weren’t interesting enough… Not sure if this is a good thing.

Yet Another Sleeper
Last weekends sleeper find… The poll I ran last week was mostly inconclusive so I am still trying to work out what I should call this category of images.

Another Sleeper And A Poll
Yet another shot of a sleeper from last weekend… I think this one may be my favorite so far.
Also below is a poll to see which suggestion would be best for renaming the “sleeper” category…Take a few seconds and help me out 🙂
Will do a Homage to Sleepers next week with the poll results…

Yet More Sleepers
Seems I cant go anywhere these days without catching a couple of sleepers as I go… These are from last weekends roll of film and Im pretty sure I got another couple this weekend as well… May have to make this into its own category after the death of “The Alley”

Sleepers Seem To Occur In Sets Of Two
For some weird reason shots of sleeping people seem to happen in sets of two. These two images were taken within about 2 minutes of each other.

A Couple Of Sleepers
A couple of sleepers… The first one is in Civic Square and the second one is trying the time-honored profession of sleep begging on Dixon Street

Asleep on Cuba Street
Nothing like a wide brim hat on a hot day for you to be able to go to sleep under…

Asleep on Victoria Street
I seem to be getting sleeping people on a regular basis… Must be the hot weather…

A Couple of Sleepers
Cuba Street seems to be a good place for a lie down lately even with all the noise from the massive amounts of road works going on.
Is it just me or does this look kinda uncomfortable?
I love the looks from the onlookers 🙂

Opps I Fell Asleep…
I hate it when that happens…but the metal grill looks soooo soft and inviting 🙂
