This is the St James Presbyterian Church in Newtown which was just declared an earthquake risk a couple of weeks ago…

Newtown landmark pub “The Adelaide” was condemned earlier this year as being structurally unsound in the case of an earthquake and is just sitting there waiting to be demolished or structurally reinforced. After all the earthquakes in Christchurch there have been quite a number of buildings condemned around Wellington this year.
The second shot was taken through a dirty window, it looks like they left in a bit of a hurry…
