Half Frame Church
The last few shots from my Canon Demi S before it died… I keep meaning to try and fix it but haven’t managed to get the time and lack of small people required 🙂
This is the St James Presbyterian Church in Newtown which was just declared an earthquake risk a couple of weeks ago…
Things To Do While Your Rolleiflex Is Away Being Repaired #5
Catch Up On Things You Meant To Do Last Year.
This was a series I did last year. Every time Samantha went to sleep in the car I took a photo of her with my Canon half frame camera. I always meant to put them together and this is a bit rough but there you have it… They were taken over a 6 month period.
I am starting to get Rollei withdrawl and walking round with my F5 just isn’t the same 😦

Half Frame Fair
I havent put up a half frame shot for a while so here is one from the Petone Fair a couple of months back… My half frame camera currently has a rattle like a screw loose inside somewhere so I will have to pull it apart (again) before it goes shooting 😦

Help A Friend
In the interest of using this blog for the purposes of good instead of evil for a change…
A friend of mine is trying to get a project up and running through PledgeMe which is basically a New Zealand kickstart platform.
You can check it out HERE
If you can help cool, if not go check it out anyway 🙂
Oh and here is a half frame pano from a lookout above Wellington 🙂

Burnt Out Building Half Frame And A Dresden Dolls Story
This image is a bit of a filler for today (sorry)… Why you ask? Well…
Yesterday when I got home from work and was checking stuff on the net I came across Amanda Palmer who was giving some tickets to her Dresden Dolls away if you tweeted your name and reason you wanted to go. Being slightly cheeky I tweeted that I had a 57 Rolleiflex that wanted to meet her and even though I just missed the cutoff I got a ticket but told I owed her a photo 🙂
Well I took Rollei along and even though there were some signs saying the usual don’t take photos or recordings I busted it out and took about 3 films worth (Amanda Palmer told me to)
Im currently developing those films and they will make up a post either later tonight or early tomorrow.
So if you like the Dresden Dolls come back and have a look shortly 🙂
By the way the show was freaking AMAZING! Thank you Amanda Palmer for the ticket!

Half Frame Urbex
A couple of half frame panos… The first one is the abandoned Central Institute of Technology and the second one is an abandoned company that used to go by the name Universal Trading Company which reminded me of Universal Exports from James Bond 🙂

Zoo Half Frame
I love how seamless this shot is even though the two girls are in it twice… Look at it big 🙂

Motorway Half Frame Pano
I haven’t done one of these for a while…
This one was taken from Fort Buckley on the night before we did the painting with light.
Half Frame Architecture. Part 2

Half Frame Architecture. Part 1
Some half frame shots from a couple of weekends ago. It definitely takes a while to get through 72 frames on a half frame camera, even when shooting a fair few multi panos like these.
