Horizon 202
Been playing with a Russian Horizon 202 lately… I really like how it distorts straight things making them look curved 🙂

The Train That Wanted To Fly
Last week as I was dropping my wife off at the train station I got a call from a friend telling me to not let her get on the train. She was just getting out of the car and saying goodbye to the kids. When I had a decent look the train was surrounded by tape and there were about four fire engines at the end of the platform.
Apparently the trains brakes malfunctioned and the train went through the end of the line and ended up propped up on a rock and lump of concrete up against a pole.
Luckily no-one was seriously hurt.
The joys of always having a camera with you 🙂

Glasses
This was an image I made for a friends birthday invite but I ended up framing it for her as well.
Its every pair of glasses she has ever worn 🙂
All glasses were shot on a product light table individually and then put together in Photoshop.

The Rose… Part 2… Digital
This is the second part of the rose that I found on the beach last week.
This time I was playing with light fall-off with a saftbox directly above and very close to the rose.

You Know Your Camera Has A Fault When…
I bought a Olympus OM10 from an opshop the other week. It came with some sweet lenses but it appears there is something wrong with the shutter, the first shot when you pick it up each time is always over exposed… Oh well might just have to find an OM1 or something similar to put the lenses on 🙂
Still I quite like the abstract nature of this shot…

The Rose… Part 1
I was walking along the beach with my daughter when we found a dozen roses of all colours scattered along the length of the beach…
