Austin

An old Austin you might recognise from assisting at the Evil Dead shoot from a couple of months ago…

Broken Glass

From an Urbex (Urban Exploration) with Fergus from 3 or 4 weeks ago… It seemed to be some sort of equipment rental place and only newly broken into so damage was minimal. I still had colour in the camera from shooting at the sevens… I have a whole series I shot on digital which I will put up at some stage…

Modern Fossil

Cellphone crushed into car park tarmac…

This is the first time I really tried to take a shot looking straight down at the ground with Rollei.. Its actually pretty hard to do with a TLR

Abandoned School

Last weekend Fergus AKA Cunningvision took me to an abandoned school out by where he lives. Lets just say I wasn’t expecting the school to be quite as large and run down as it was… In short it was way cooler than I was expecting 🙂

Apparently it used to be part of Hutt Valley High School but hasn’t been used in quite a while… Must go back again…

MG vs SUV

Crash on the corner of Victoria Street and Ghuznee Street from a couple of weeks back. This is a good example why a MG and an SUV shouldn’t play together.

Broken Cadillac On Oriental Parade

On a morning wander with Samantha on my back we came across this Cadillac with its hood up and a pair of legs sticking out of the driver’s door … In the interest of getting closer we went and said hello and took this shot without him noticing while we talked 🙂

It wasn’t there when we walked back later on in the morning so hopefully he got it working again… It was a pretty sweet car!

Windy In Wellington

Been a bit windy here in Wellington lately…

Sunday Assisting Job

I had an assisting job yesterday with photographer Bev Short… We have done quite a bit of work together and she is reasonably cool with me taking shots like this where usually it would be frowned upon.

It was an image for her book shot around a car wreckers yard… Needless to say we were all filthy by the end of it 🙂

I like that the strobe is in the engine bay… for some reason it amuses me.

More shots of wrecked cars to come…

Building Demolition

Building being gutted behind Manners Street… Looks like it used to be a theatre of some sort even though I don’t remember one being there.

The bottom shot is taken from the roof of the Lombard car parking building.
