OK so they weren’t actually sleeping 🙂

The last two shots off the film that expired 19 years ago.
This was also a bit of a test since I have been having trouble with focusing at the closer distances… Theses were taken on a tripod in good light with the camera set to f8… It looks like I might have to do another test on something static, but the camera might have to go and get the mirror re-calibrated.

Another Wellington photographer, this time Simon Woolf.
This is probably the first time I have seen him without a camera as he was changing a light outside his studio. After I took this we had a chat and he told me he had just purchased his second Rolleiflex 🙂

The other day I got given a roll of Kodak Ektachrome 64T which expired in October 1992. It had been kept in a freezer so I thought I would do a short series on the humble road cone which I would then get cross processed… It turned out much better than I thought… Might have to try and find some more.
If you cant read it upside down check out the expiry date 🙂

From time to time I come across other street photographers while I am wandering around…
Peter Black has just had his book “I Loved You The Moment I Saw You” published a couple of months ago (you can see it HERE) so when I saw him wandering around with his camera I did a quick evasive maneuver round the back of a block to catch him as he walked past (not easy to do quickly with a two year old strapped onto your back).
It was an excellent case of good preparation bad execution as I pulled the focus a bit… He obviously saw me and grabbed a couple of shots of me and Sam 🙂
When we walked back later on in the morning he didn’t notice me taking the shot of him being interviewed about the book 🙂

A shot of Fergus aka Cunningvision on one of our urban explorations… This shot would have been awesome if he didn’t have the digi round his neck 🙂
I think he is shooting on a FED of some description…
